Assistant State's Attorney (Entry-level)​

The Prince George’s County Office of the State’s Attorney has openings for entry-level Assistant State’s Attorneys (ASA).  The State’s Attorney’s Office is charged with servicing the interest of the citizens of Prince George’s County, Maryland.  With over 900,000 citizens, Assistant State’s Attorneys are charged with assisting the State’s Attorney to safeguard the community through prosecution of criminal matters.

Assistant State's Attorney (Experienced)​

The Prince George’s County Office of the State’s Attorney has openings for experienced Assistant State’s Attorneys (ASA) to join its staff of over two hundred attorneys and support staff. The State’s Attorney’s Office is charged with servicing the interest of the citizens of Prince George’s County, Maryland.  With over 900,000 citizens, Assistant State’s Attorneys are responsible for safeguarding the community through the investigation and prosecution of criminal matters that occur within the County’s borders.

Legal Assistant 

​

The Prince George’s County Office of the State’s Attorney has openings for Legal Assistants. The principal function of this employee is to perform a variety of tasks under the general direction and support of Assistant State’s Attorneys, or upper- level management team. A significant aspect of this work involves working effectively and tactfully with people from all socio-economic backgrounds.

Digital Evidence Legal Assistant 

​

The Prince George’s County Office of the State’s Attorney has openings for Digital Evidence (DE) Legal Assistants.  The DE Legal Assistants are assigned to the Discovery Unit responsible for processing digital evidence contained on body worn cameras , cruiser cameras, and other surveillance devices.  The principal function of this employee is to perform a variety of tasks under the general direction and support of State’s Attorneys, or upper-level management team.  A significant aspect of this work involves working effectively and tactfully with people from all socio-economic backgrounds.

Graphics Demonstrative Evidence Assistant

 

The Prince George’s County State’s Attorney has an immediate opening for a full-time Graphics Demonstrative Evidence Assistant. If you are interested in law enforcement and our judicial system and you enjoy working in a fast-paced, highly rewarding environment, we are looking for you. The Graphics Demonstrative Evidence Assistant will join the efforts of attorneys, investigators and other support staff charged with safeguarding the community through the prosecution of criminal matters. This is a one-year grant funded position. Continuation beyond the one-year term is contingent on future funding.
